Self-Representation Support

YOU CAN TRUST

At Just Write Paralegal and Notary, we’re proud to serve individuals who choose to represent themselves in legal matters—a path known as pro se representation. It’s a bold step, and one that’s often taken out of necessity, practicality, or personal conviction.

Before anything else, let’s be clear:
We are not attorneys.
We do not offer legal advice, we do not interpret the law, and we do not represent anyone in court.

That said, what we do offer is in our name: we Just Write. We prepare professional, court-ready legal documents based on the information you provide. For many of our clients, this kind of support is the missing piece in an otherwise overwhelming process.

What Does Pro-Se Mean

“Pro se” is a Latin term meaning “for oneself.” In legal matters, it refers to individuals who handle their own legal affairs without hiring an attorney.
This might be by choice—or by circumstance. For many, the cost of legal representation is out of reach. Others want more direct control over their situation. And in some cases, the issue may be straightforward enough that hiring an attorney isn’t necessary.

Still, representing yourself in any legal matter is no small task. The process involves strict formatting requirements, court procedures, and timelines—all of which must be followed carefully to avoid costly errors or delays.

That’s where we come in.

Document Preparation Putting You In Control

When you reach out to Just Write for help with Pro Se documents, the process begins with you. You’ll explain the situation in your own words—what’s going on, what you need, and what you’re hoping to accomplish.

We’ll listen carefully, ask the right questions, and get to work preparing your documents based on the information you’ve provided.

You maintain full control. These are your documents, your decisions. Our role is to ensure that everything is presented professionally, clearly, and in a way that aligns with the court’s expectations.

Once we’ve completed the draft, we’ll review it with you, make any necessary adjustments, and finalize the documents so you can move forward with confidence.
